CHECK LISTS Coastal Sailing
Below are a number of checklists that I use for off shore sailing.
Feel free to download these and adapt to your own situation. Also: don't underestimate Galveston Bay, a nice day can change into something wilder as the pictures show. Good moments to practice!
Disclaimers: Please be mindful that these are lists made for my yacht Joan III and that not all OSR requirements will be mentioned because some one checks off once and then there is no need to review on a yearly basis. As with all these things: it is the skipper's and only the skipper's responsibility to prepare yacht and crew and make the decision to sail. These checklists are just some suggestions and not necessarily complete and they are not "authorized" in any form. By downloading these files you agree to using these lists at your own risk.
