A sea trial can be fun and with a real nice breeze
Compared with the wintery conditions of the Joan II sea trial with John Kolius the sail of the then still "Good News" was more of a gentlemen's affair.

Lou Stahlberg and Mike Firestone are the leaders in surveying here in Texas.
Lou is very knowledgable and understands older yachts. After 35 years not all will be right but not everything is a deal breaker either.
I very much enjoyed working with him and I learned a lot in the process. One tning I learned is that you need to be flexible to get into all the small areas. Don't get fooled by the long hair. Lou is a retired USCG officer and has many years of experience. This survey lasted from 700am to 700pm.
